Protect your commercial, industrial or residential low slope roof with special application shingles available through Tony William Roofing & Exteriors. Our specialists use industry expertise to prevent low slope thermal shock and UV damage during the summer. Likewise, we stop penetrating water damage from rain, sleet, snow and ice. Prepare for unpredictable Calgary weather today.
Low slope roofs require special roofing materials and installation to protect against wind and water penetration. The low angle of the roof makes water drain more slowly and also exposes the separation or roofing materials to more direct wind. Traditional asphalt shingles and installation techniques are not suitable for roof pitches between 2:12 and 4:12. That is a 2 inch rise over 12 inches to a 4 inch rise over 12 inches. Incorrectly applied low slope roofs can lead to premature damage so special techniques, materials and precautions need to be taken.
Roof pitches between 2:12 and 4:12 qualify as low slopes. At these obtuse angles, roofs require a seamless layer of roof leak barriers (ice and water guards) to defend the underlying structure from circulating and/or melting precipitation. In turn, low slope shingles remain critical to roof leak barrier protection and the finished appearance of your property. Prevent frequent repairs, replacements and upgrades by contacting Tony William for beautiful, protective low slope roofing installations.
We are currently quoting projects to commence in 2025.

An intimate knowledge of exterior construction and experience with the worst Calgary weather make our specialists the best choice in low slope roofing installations. As a result, we know traditional fiberglass and asphalt shingles don’t last when you need the utmost protection on a low slope roof.
For maximum strength, Tony William uses Malarkey Alaskan® series shingles for low slope applications . This stunning material utilizes Styrene Butadiene Styrene (SBS) technology to provide unmatched flexibility during drastic temperature changes, wintry winds and other seasonal stress. In fact, SBS polymer-modified asphalt allows convenient cold weather installations in temperatures reaching -18° C. This demonstrates a superior ability to resist cracks and tears in almost every Calgary weather challenge.
